Hire Purchase
This is a loan secured against the car. You will own the vehicle when all the monthly payments have been paid. To find out what your repayments would be over a specified period, select the car you would like to purchase and use the "On Screen" calculator.
Personal Contract Purchase (PCP)
With this option, you can drive a new car for the lowest monthly payments.
At the end of the contract, there is an optional balloon payment that you can choose to pay in order to take ownership of the vehicle. This amount is determined at the outset and allows you to keep the vehicle if you want. However, it is not essential - on the contrary, you could choose to return the car and walk away. A mileage limit will apply to all personal contract purchase deals. Personal contract purchase is seen as a direct alternative to hire purchase and is subject to the protections set out in the Consumer Credit Act.

With this option, you can drive a new car without ownership.
At the end of the contract, you simply return the car and walk away.
A mileage limit will apply to all personal contract hire deals.
